Let me lose this
breathe out the last of it
fill me up with something other than

Fresh, non you air
take it in and hold it
and never breathe it again

file it away, toss it out
turn me inside out

Say it, whisper that last
goodbye, later gator
and never speak it again

unbreathe it, toss it
spit it out

not ever
